Simplicity. Reflection. Action.

We believe in teaching that transforms how people think. The content itself is secondary—if you’re a great teacher, people will want to learn regardless of the content. More importantly, they’ll be able to take the methods and frameworks they’ve learned and apply them to their lives.

Think about it: many of the greatest teachers in people’s lives aren’t found in classrooms. They’re grandmothers, coaches, the chain smoking diner owner, and the unique characters we meet along the way. So how can we embrace that simple human approach, move the learning beyond the classroom, and create meaningful change in the world around us?

It’s a big, almost existential question for someone designing corporate training courses. But it’s also an important one. If a sales training session can shift someone’s perspective or inspire new ways of thinking, then we’re doing something right.

My Philosophy

My philosophy is in the name. Too often, we unnecessarily complicate things. Usually it’s because we’ve just learned something and we are trying to inspire confidence. However, this is all surface level.

We believe that learning should be simple. Whether it is through story, basic steps, or breaking down our preconceived notions, we should always be moving towards the same goal.

Teach to transform.

Instructional design should not be about gimmicks or shortcuts but about creating solid, foundational learning experiences that lead to genuine transformation. I believe that true learning happens when we simplify concepts and focus on principles that build deep, lasting change.

Learning isn’t about adding new habits or subtracting old ones—it’s about reshaping how we think. When we teach in a way that prioritizes understanding over technique, we empower learners to apply those principles to real-world contexts. This is how we move beyond memorization to genuine comprehension and mastery.

By breaking down preconceived notions and embracing simplicity, we move towards deeper, more impactful learning outcomes. My approach emphasizes clarity, storytelling, and fundamental principles, helping Instructional Designers create impactful, transformative experiences that resonate long after the training is complete.
