No Nonsense
Learning and Development

We transform beginner and mid-career learning and development professionals into the Swiss Army knife of their organization. From sales and applying learning theory to client communication, curriculum development, scoping, writing, animating, and even building in Storyline—we teach it all.

Too often, learning and development projects get bogged down by handoffs, conflicting voices, and too many cooks in the kitchen. The result? Inefficiency, confusion, and clients who feel like they’re just part of a never-ending process.

We’re here to flip the script. Instead of being another cog in the machine, let’s make you the go-to person—the one clients trust to handle it all. Be the “dude” or “dudette” in the garage: the one point of contact who dreams up and delivers seamless, end-to-end solutions that clients can count on.

Ready to become that person? Let’s get started.

Dude in a Garage

It was a Monday afternoon like any other, the kind where time drips slowly down the wall like condensation from a glass of water. I was sitting in a meeting with the higher-ups—guys in suits that never fit quite right, their faces creased with stress and stale ambition. They were talking about market shifts, profitability margins, all the usual corporate fluff, when suddenly, out of nowhere, the head honcho says, “We’re losing all our business… to a dude in a garage.”

The room went silent.

That phrase clung to me. I had to know: who was this guy? I searched everywhere, but found nothing—no website, no name, just whispers. Late one night, with a cup of tea in hand, it hit me. Maybe this mysterious dude in a garage wasn’t someone else.

Maybe it was me.

Who are YOU?

But here’s the thing—I’m not a lone wolf. I’m here to empower YOU, the mid-level Instructional Designer, to become the Swiss Army knife of your field.

No more losing visions in handoffs. No more waiting for someone else to pick up the slack. I’ve worked with the biggest names in the industry, and I’ve learned that success lies in one simple principle: putting in the work and mastering everything from A to Z.

The good news for you is that with a little direction it won’t take you 10 years of stumbling around, following rabbit holes, adding what works and shedding what doesn’t.

I help Instructional Designers like you build end-to-end skills—from curriculum development to coding, animation, and beyond. Whether you’re learning to streamline your process, make work a bit more easy and more fulfilling, or looking to take on bigger projects, I’m here to make sure you have the tools and workflows to succeed.

With one-on-one coaching and team training, I guide you to work faster, smarter, and more effectively. The result? You deliver higher-quality work in less time, giving you the power to bring your vision to life, while making a bigger impact on your clients—and their learners.

Does it work?

No matter your role—whether you’re a CEO or just starting out—you’re probably wondering: Does this even work? Don’t we need specialized professionals for every step of the process?

Here’s the truth: I’ve used this process on hundreds of projects, and it works. I’ve taken workflows that typically take 130 hours just for the build phase and reduced the entire project—from design to scripting to build—down to 30 hours. Yes, even if those 130 hours are offshored, this streamlined workflow has proven to be far more effective.

The secret? Eliminating the telephone game from the project. By reducing handoffs, you save enormous amounts of time and, more importantly, deliver a final product that’s far more valuable and aligned with the vision.

But what about the gaps—skills like graphic design or animation? Here’s the deal: we teach you those skills. And even if you don’t become an expert, we’ll show you how to communicate so effectively that when assets come back, you won’t be left wondering, How did this turn out like this?

Instead of just assigning tasks to check a box, we teach you bulletproof strategies for working with teams—ways to expand your ideas, refine your vision, and produce something exceptional.

Take the first step - We will do the rest

This isn’t just about boosting efficiency or climbing the career ladder—it’s about becoming something greater. Stripping away the noise, returning to the essentials, and focusing on what truly works.

It’s time to shed the nonsense.

1:1 Services

This is custom to whatever you need 😀

Do you need a no holds barred critique on a solution or design? This hour long conversation could save you from tens of hours of effort. Feel free to choose one of the boilerplate services or ask for something custom!

Although learning and development companies assume you using products like the adobe creative suite and storyline, we make our training so that it doesn’t assume that you have these tools. The principles can be used everywhere and in every tool.

Both! While our one-on-one coaching is tailored to individual growth, we also work with entire teams to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and elevate team performance.

A common saying in fitness is that you will see results in a month, your significant other/friends will notice in two months, and everyone else will see the results after 3 months.

We look to pack that cycle into about 6-8 weeks. You will have insights you can implement immediately, but to develop the entire process it will take time. However, the timeline depends on much time you dedicate to learning and practice.

Not at all! For those who can’t afford the paid training, we offer plenty of free content to help you get started. By applying the principles in our free resources, you can begin making significant progress in your skills.

The paid training removes all the guesswork. It is tailored for those ready to take their career to the next level. It’s designed to go beyond skill-building—to transform the way you work, think, and approach learning and development.
